Each progressive step is explained down to its smallest detail, in the mounting instruction book that comes with each  headers package.
The removal of the engine or the gearbox is not required.
 The same, multi-piece design, offers an even more important feature: the neutralization of any heat-induced tension among the single pipes, which could ultimately cause the failure of the thin wall, lightweight tubing, the most deadly enemy of  any tubular headers.
The Supersprint headers, although made with conventional material, such as the 304 stainless steel, is as tough as it gets, offering an unlimited durability, under any condition, from high-speed, autobahn driving, to road touring, down to the most grueling, race track use.
